With the help and encouragement of friend-blogger, Vyomi, I have written these two Haikus. The second one is in response to the prompt given by Vyomi who is herself a pro at writing Haikus. I thank her for her guidance. Do spare some time to read some wonderful pieces written by her. She blogs at A rhyme a day to keep my blues at bay.
At First Sight
Unsung Heroes
Wooden Sandals
The Ancient Woman
Before you read my novice attempts, I insist you read the above gems by Vyomi.
Now for the two attempts I have made -
Struggling for some space
Obsessive suffocation
Churning death through love
(Ersa is the Greek Gooddess of dewdrops and Aurora is dawn.)

Scent of Aurora
Reminiscent of Ersa
Touch of tenderness(Ersa is the Greek Gooddess of dewdrops and Aurora is dawn.)

ReplyDeleteThanks Amit....even I liked the second one more....:)
DeleteAgree with Amit!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rajeev....
DeleteSunaina, I'm really speechless and at a loss of words for your kindness. Thank you is a very small word for your appreciation and kindness. Like I said earlier, you are a natural at Haikus. I loved your first attempt but your second one..oh my Sunaina...Hats off! Fabulous is a small word. You've so beautifully made the reader experience the beauty of little diamonds with not only the fragrance of a magical morning, but also its tender feel and the divinity you have alluded to simply took my breath away. I'm so looking forward to your next one. Fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteMuch love
Vyomi
It is me who has to thank you for the encouragement you gave.....And how would my post be complete if it was not for you and the wonderful haikus you write.....will keep trying more for sure.....:)
DeleteSo good that I cannot think of words that would show how much I loved it. Great lines Sunaina!
ReplyDeleteI am surprised by the response I am getting on this Manisha......so happy to have attempted this....:)
DeleteVery nice Sunaina. Second one appears more expressive.
ReplyDeleteThanks Somali...it seems that like me, everyone has loved the second one.....who would favor choking relationship over dew drops....:)

DeleteSuhana, the Haiku *(plural of Haiku is not Haikus) are really marvelous. It does not appear that it is your first attempt. Kudos1 You can daily write a Haiku. Have a look at '' Carpe Diem Haiku'' You will get a very good exposure.
